are often overlooked but can be so rewarding to find and enjoy….
like this composition of a shell fragment on the sand with a few strands of dune grass….
or this perfectly perched crab molt…
or the faded but sweet skeletal remains of this dune plant….
or these rabbit tracks in the sand….
all these little things are the things that make me happy every time I walk in nature…How about you?
Kim and I were just talking about that this morning as we combed the northside beaches for treasures. GOd bless
I like the little things too. Thank-you for sharing. I love to find heart shaped things in nature. Those fresh little bunny tracks on the clean sand are adorable. Did you follow them?
You have an appreciation for "natural art" that puts me in mind of Andy Goldsworthy, I bet you'd love his art (You might well know him already, don't want to insult your intelligence, hehe!)
Love the top picture in particular, the shadows of the grass on the sand… that would make a beautiful painting.
thanks, everyone–and Miss Robinson, yes, I LOVE Andy Goldsworthy–have you seen the film, "Rivers and Tides" ? It is amazing—
